Academic Achievement Assessment: Principle and Methodology by Professor Dr. Tian Huisheng

Prof. Dr. Tian Huisheng, an eminent educationalist in China whose research has made significant impact on teachers and education policy-makers at different levels. He currently serves as the president of the National Institute for Educational Sciences (NIES), the Director-General of the Basic Education Curriculum and Textbook Development Center, and the Secretary-General of the National Advisory Committee on Basic Education Curriculum and Textbook under the Ministry of Education. His book - “Academic Achievement Assessment: Principle and Methodology” reviews the historic development of Academic Achievement Assessment, describes China’s achievements and problems , and summarizes the international experiences and development trends in the field of Academic Achievement Assessment. The book describes the theory, principles and methods, and especially highlights details in matters of technical issues and implementation of Academic Achievement Assessment.
